Sipi Falls is a beautiful waterfall located in eastern Uganda, near the border with Kenya. The falls are situated in the foothills of Mount Elgon, the fourth highest mountain in East Africa. Sipi Falls is actually a series of three waterfalls, with the main falls dropping approximately 100 meters.

The area around Sipi Falls is known for its scenic beauty and is a popular destination for hiking, trekking, and outdoor activities. Visitors can take guided tours to explore the waterfalls with our local community guide and the surrounding countryside, which is dotted with small farms and traditional villages.

The falls are located in the town of Kapchorwa, which is approximately 277 kilometres (172 miles) from Kampala, Uganda’s capital city. There are a number of lodges and guesthouses in the area that cater to visitors depending on your interest and budget, making Sipi Falls a popular destination for both domestic and international tourists.
